€8.5 million in voucher sales
The Monaghan Town Team hosted a relaunch breakfast morning in Castle Leslie.
The new Town Team Coordinator/Business Support Executive Laura Hannon was introduced and spoke about the ongoing and future plans for the group.
Overall it was a very successful event that rekindled the passion and drive of the Town Team and their supporters.
We were delighted to report that one of the highlights of the Town Team’s success is the €8.5 million generated in Monaghan Town voucher sales and that is thanks to the wonderful support received from local businesses in the uptake of the project.
For every €1 that is spent a further €4 is generated in the local economy which is such a great news story for the locality and really shows the benefit of shopping local.
